I have a 4yr old black male cat who is seriously ill he won't eat or drink? |
He bacame ill last thursday late in the day he was fine in the morning before i went to work. he was his usual self playing and eating. My boyfriend came home on on his lunch break and found yellowish bile that salem threw up. Ever since through the weekend he won't eat or drink i took him to the vets and tested him for feline aids and feline leukumia. He tested negative for those diseases. He gave me penicilian for now to see if that works so far it hasn't. I"m very concerned he hasn't eaten or drank in the last few days. I'm so sorry about your cat, but this section is for HUMAN Diseases & Conditions.. Take the cat to the vet!!! usually when a cat or dog stops eating, they are dying vet? take him back to the vet or go to the animal hospital because it sounds as if he is in serious trouble Take him back to the vet, if he threw up yellowish bile that probably means he ate something that he should not have ate, poison maby!! Take him back to the vet ASAP!! If your cat is that ill, TAKE IT TO THE VET!!!!!!!!!! Take him to a vet Call the vet back. ASAP!! If he isn't eating he is becoming dehydrated, he will go into kidney failure and die. This is serious. I had an animal that also was very ill and didn't eat, I would advise you to go and see a vet of course. When my animal got checked out I found out that it had cancer. So you really should go see a vet! That happened to my cat and it turned out he had swallowed some thread and it twisted his intestines. After surgery two years ago he has been perfect! Good luck, I hope he gets better. I have found this message board where the same question was asked and they said it was either a hair ball or stomach flu. Here is the link.
