The school nurse checked my hearing and told me......**please only serious answers!**?

that i have really small ear canals.
that I'm a mouth breather.

i also failed four hearing tests.
she gave me a referral to go see a ear doctor. i'm so nervious! my mom said they can stretch my ear canals......is that true?

my question is: what will happen at the doctors office? what can they do to help my hearing? will i have to wear hearing aid? what kind of test with they do? do you have any advice?

Go to an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) Specialist. Have a professional hearing test. Find out what the doctor recommends. I never heard about stretching an ear canal. Don't worry. If you can hear fine right now, you may not need assistance for years.

If you haven't noticed any problems so far, I'm sure you'll get through the rest of life just fine. Relax.
