83 yrs old male with medicaid needs hearing aid. will medicaid help pay for hearing aid? who do I contact?

also have kaiser hmo, having hearing test at kaiser in may. hearing aids are expensive. would like to know who would i contact about medicaid helping to pay for hearing aid and how much they would pay for it. what hearing aids are best? looking for something small that you cant see. also is digital better?

I think that if you go to a business that sells hearing aids (try Costco or your local drugstores) they should be able to get your Medicaid information from you and find out what you qualify for. If you don't already qualify for a hearing aid, you may want to get your primary care physician to prescribe one, which then may be covered by Medicaid. Hope this helps, good luck!
