my brother has hemophlia and had many blood transfusions befor3e the blood tested for the aids antibody. Some of my friends have stopped coming to my house and some started avoiding me. how can i make my friends understand Oh dear. You have a problem that anyone who is related to or friends with someone who has an illness's. Your real friends and family will stick by you and those that are ill informed will desert you. If you need to explain to those who you feel are less than knowledgeable then try asking them how they would feel if they had lost an arm or a leg in an accident. Would they understand how different everyone would treat them? If they had cancer wouldn't they expect everyone to treat them decently and care about them. Your brother has a condition were his body doesn't react as the rest of ours do and neither do the bodies of cancer victims. Their bodies also don't work the way they should but because their bodies can't combat their own irregular cells. get some pamplets about this and give them to them....i'm so sorry about your brother and people treating you like this If they were really your friends they wouldnt be avoiding you, and try and understand. I wouldnt want to be friends with such closed minded people anyway. |
