I had sex on may 1st or 2nd with an old friend,but it was protected...so my next period was supposed to?

start on may 5th or 6th but it did'nt come.....i took a family dollar pregnancy test on may 10th and it came back positive , i also buy another pregnancy test at rite aid pharmacy and it also came back positive.....i had sex with my boyfriend in april most of the days after my period as ended and he ejaculate inside of me....i had a vaginal sonogram done on june 5....and the doctor said that i was in my 9th week of pregnancy.....i also had a due date of january 11th 2007.....my doctor said that i conceived in april.....what are the chances of the old friend being the father?

first of all i dont need to go on the maury show to have a dna test done.......i can provide for myself and my baby....im willing to take the money out of my pocket and pay for the dna test.....and both of the guys know.....and they're also willing to pay so money is not my problem.....so all who say go to the maury show can kiss my asssssssssssssssssss......

i feel sorry for you unborn baby i really do i see a date with maury in your future the best thing you can do now is be honest with both men and then take a dna test when the baby is born.

I really don't think the father is your old friend. You should have ovulated around April 20th (if you have a normal 28-day cycle) so the father would have been your boyfriend.

There is always a chance so you need to tell your doctor and when you have another sonogram they can tell you exactly how many weeks pregnant you are and you can count back. Get a pregnancy calender and mark the day of your last regular period and sometime within those two weeks you conceived. Does your boyfriend know about the other guy? If so you need to talk to him about it. If he does not know, i would wait until you know the week that you conceived before bringing it up to him. If you are sure it is his baby, i would never say anything about it. Good luck

It's probably your boyfriend's baby, you're just paranoid and probably feel guilty about what you did. It might make you feel better to get that out in t he open with your boyfriend, since if it's not his, he's gonna find out anyway.

I would guess that your boyfriend is the father. If you were supposed to get your period on May 5 or 6 by May 1st you would already have passed the time in which you would be fertile.

I doubt it. Go with what your doctor says always, they should be able to tell you a -pretty accurate- but not exact- date of when you concieved. They got that phd for a reason.....make them use it!

very little. let's put this into perspective, if your period was supposed to start on May 5th or 6th, your last period before May (if your period is monthly) was on april 5th or 6th. Ovulation takes place 14 days after your first day of your menstrual period, so that was on april 19th or 20th. If you had sex w/ your boyfriend around this time, he should be the father..thank goodness! and its true that you'll be giving birth around January. Congratulations, but be careful next time!

OK, if you count back The weeks, of pregnancy my money is on your bf being the father, because if on June 5th, you were nine weeks along, then it was April, but if you had only been about 5-6weeks along, it would have been your old friend, you just have to do the math sweetie, but my money is on your bf...but at least you were honest with both men, and didn't say for sure which way it is, you want to be 100% positive, kudos to you for honesty.

what most ppl dont know is that , conception NEVER occurs the same day of the sex that caused the conception, so when doctors tell u the day of conception, and ur bf or who ever, says "we werent even together that day, therefore im not the father" they could very well be! conception takes ATLEAST 3 days to concieve, the sperm can only live inside a womans for 5days before it dies, so it has 5 days to find it way to the cervix, and concieve, u had PROTECTED sex, 3 days before ur period. when u go for ur ultrasound, the doctor will/should be able to tell u the exact date of conception (NOT the day u had the sex that led to the conception)

Well sonograms are somewhat of an estimation as well as determining the pregnancy from the first day of your last period. But if you were 9 weeks pregnant on the 5th of June, that means that you conceived around the first week of April so there shouldn't be an issue with the paternity of the baby. To make sure 100% though, you should get a test done after the baby is born. It's a great thing that both of the potential fathers know about the situation, most other women try to fool themselves into thinking that it's who they want the baby's father to be. They never let either one of the potential fathers know either so I commend you on that. Good luck to you!
