False positive with rite aid brand?!?!?

has anyone gotten an evap with rite aid early home pregnancy test...with blue dye? and if you did did it show up with the 10 minutes??? i was reading online about a few people that got false positives with these...any one else taken one of these???

people you are not giving me any help...all i want to know is if this has happened to anybody with this brand...and if it came up with in the time limit!!!!!!!!!!

I actually did with my first one.....I would just for the sake of it buy an EPT......they are worth the money trust me.

Make sure you read all of the instructions that come with your home pregnancy test carefully. Also, take note of the test reading time given in the test instructions. Certain tests could give a false reading if they are read too early or too late.

Home pregnancy tests only check hCG levels and the hormone hCG is produced in pregnancy, which is released in a pregnant woman's urine.

Urine tests use monoclonal antibodies to test for hCG. Most pregnancy sticks have two lines, one is a control line which you will see whether you are pregnant or not, the other line contains the monoclonal antibodies. If there is hCG present in your urine, when it soaks the stick the hCG will react with the monoclonal antibodies, causing a color change that will make the second line appear.

Sometimes, a light line appears as the test starts to dry, called and evaporation line. wait a few days and re-test.

If your home pregnancy test is positive 鈥?or if you've taken a few home pregnancy tests and gotten mixed results 鈥?make an appointment with your doctor, nurse practitioner or midwife.

Pregnancy tests are very accurate as long as you use them properly. If you have any concerns you should always discuss your results with your Doctor or health care provider.

All pregnancy test brands have the possibility of displaying an evaporation line. If the test was read within the time limit, a positive line, no matter how varied the line colors, should be considered a positive result. All HPTs should be read within the time mentioned in the instructions and then thrown out to avoid confusion over evaporation lines.

THE BEST TEST IS FIRST RESPONSE IT'S REALLY GOOD AND IT'S BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME

I agree EPT is the only OTC pregnancy test, my friends and I trust.

Rite Aid brands should work perfectly. I've never heard of false results from Rite Aid stuff. If they do turn out wrong, get your money back. I just called a friend of mine who used a Rite Aid brand, and it was correct. It'll all work out. I wish you all the luck in the world.

I have used this brand, however mine came out negative.
You are not to read the test after 10 mins! It says it right in the directions. If you were pregnant it would either immediately show or show after one minute!

Why don't you just take another test?

However it says the blue dye ones seem to be better than the pink dye ones.

My advice is to go and get a non +/- test and test again tomorrow.
