Has tests to see how you fare in kindergarten gotten harder over the years?

i remember my tests were ones that had visual aids and such but my friend's little brother had a test where no visual aids were used at all and he was asked to do subtraction without any help what-so-ever. He's going to the same school district that i went to when i was in school but just a different builiding.

Today students are taught different ways to do math.
In Kindergarten as well. They have to because today's students must learn 80 pounds worth of
knowledge by high school. That is alot of info
if you think about it. When I was going to school
computers were just being introduced at the college
level. Today most 5 year-olds can operate a computer, a vcr/dvd, cell phone and Game Boys.
