Anyone know?

I live in the UK and I am moving to Australia. My TRA has come back succesful and corrently my visa is getting done I have gone through an agentcey. All I will need to do is a medical. what will they be looking for in the medical. There is nothing wrong with me I just want to know. I know I will get tested for Aids and TB but what else?

There is a new test that has only just been introduced.......as a previous answerer has said it's sort of an Aussie English test.

... that's pretty much it. I think that they may test for major STDs like gonorrhea and syphilis too.

It's just an M.O.T. really to make sure you are fit and healthy. Nothing to worry about if your health is okay.

It should be no problem regarding the medical if you are fit, however, I am a little concerned that you may no pass the spelling test they give you at immigration.... only kidding have a great life in Oz.

Yes there is an aids test and chest x ray for tb but just a standard full health check, blood pressure, weigth etc
