Sex with a person with STD but got tested for everything. I'm I in the clear?

My parents are very big with me getting tested for diseases. I know the test checks for everything because my dad ask the doctor to do the test that checks everything. He even ask if the test checks for AIDS and STD and the doctor said yes. The beginning of the year a girl told me that she had STD. I had sex with this person in the spring/summer of 2006. I believe I had with her for 5 times and use a condom. The last time I had sex with her, I didn't use a condom. Stupid on my part. The last time I was tested was in the spring of 2007. They didn't found anything. Which the last time I had sex and was tested was 9 months apart. They said that I didn't had STD or AIDS. I'm I in the clear? Nervous to take the test now.

How the hell would WE know?

YOU YOURSELF are not sure of the answer, your DOCTORS said you were clear, but that was months ago, and now you're nervous to take the test, so instead of taking it, you figured a bunch of random strangers on Yahoo! Answers can give you an accurate reading of whether or not you have a disease???

Sorry, but that just doesn't make any sense. The survey you're currently conducting (by asking US) is not very scientific.

Good luck.

you might want to get the test again just to double check. but you probably don't have anything. not every disease gets passed on every time, condom or not. it looks like you were one of the lucky ones!! just make sure you know for yourself.. better than lettin it go untreated. BEST OF LUCK

if you have been tested and they came back clear then its unlikely that you have.
you should always wear a condom, especially if you know the girl has an std.
the symptoms don't always show up straight away and can hide, especially in wowen.
go get tested, don't be embarrassed, the nurses have seen it all before, stds get worse when they are left and can do alot of damage to your body when gone untreated.

The situation can make it difficult to take the test but I'd def suggest taking the test again to be on the safe side. and I hope you are and so you can look back at this situation and will have def leanred a big lesson.

some diseases like

HIV take time for the anibodes to dstroy your immune system meaning hat the diseas might not be showing up just yet you

could never doubt

if so theres treatment BUT its NOT CURIBLE

If you had a blood test and it came up negative then you should be okay. Even if you did had a blood test, it's always good to do the test every year to make sure you don't have anything. The STD may come up position this time around but that seem less likely to happen.

Being nervous is normal but it's your health and it's something you need to do. If you never had the blood test and the girl told you that she found out she had a STD then that would freak me out. But you had the test done once, it's should not be a big deal to do it again. I'm not 100% sure you will have a STD this time around but the odds are not likely.

with std's and sti's that have short incubation period, you might be out of those. however, for hepatitis b,c,d and hiv (which are the serious sexually transmitted diseases), they don't show up in the tests as early as 6 months... and they may show up as late as years (10 years in hiv)

sorry to say this, but stupid you to have known she has std and you still continued to have sex with her. stupid you to have relied on condoms (they usually work, but sometimes they don't. women even get pregnant with condoms on, and fyi, sperms are larger than these tiny MICROorganisms that cause std).

please be vigilant and try not to disseminate the disease (cause you're still not in the clear, i'm sorry to say this)

Go get tested the sooner the better and STOP playing Russian roulette with your life.
Good luck

get tested again in another 3 months to be sure. sometimes symptoms can take a while to develope.
