Help me plz!!!?

Ok my girlfriend is pregnant and we went to her appt today and they asked her if she wanted an AID's test and she agreed, would it be because she is cheating on me or doesnt trust plz tell me what you think. thank you very much.

I have been married for ten years and pregnant 4 times. Each time I agree to the aids testing, not because I have ever cheated or don't trust my husband, I do it just to be thorough and make sure somewhere along the line I didn't accidentally come in contact with it.

I think you are over reacting. She is just taking precautions to protect the baby.

Calm down, it could simply be that she has never had one before and wants to be sure she doesn't have AIDS.

AIDS tests are very common for women when they become pregnant.

No, most doctors will insist on an AIDS test, he doesn't know your or her personal life, so they do it to everyone. The child will get another one when it is born too. It's important for the doctors to know that!!! She agreed because she wants to make sure her baby is okay!

She probably just wants to be 100% sure. In NJ I think its actually mandatory; they never asked me; they just did it. I knew I was fine; I hadn't been with anyone else besides my husband in about 3 years. I always had them every 6 months just to be safe. Its a scary thing to think about and even scarier when you are pregnant. I don't think that your girlfriend agreed because she is cheating or anything like that. She is just being responsible.

I opted for that test too last year when offered for the same reason when pregnant - just because it was offered, and I have been with the same person for 10 years. You just never know these days what the heck you might catch by some weird chance, and it's better to be safe and make sure.

I had agreed to mine. I wasn't cheating or anything of that nature. I just thought that it would be best to have it done and make absoultley sure that there was no way I could have it. I mean if you think about it, it could be so easy to get it. Someone you work with cuts themselves and you help them out. What if they had it and you had a paper cut or something? Of course the odds are not that great but, it could still happen. I also agreed to it because I had been raped in the past and wanted to make sure nothing had shown up in the last year. Relax, she's probably just making sure that there is no way.

u are overreacting. it is recommended that pregnant women get tested for aids. it is to make sure that the doctor knows if she has it or not because the unborn will get it too if she does. i got tested for it even tho i know i didnt have aids which turns out that i didnt.

im sure its not because she doesnt trust you or is cheating on you...but maybe she has never been tested before...besides its better if she takes as many tests as possible because she doesnt want to pass anything bad to the baby...i have only had sex with one person and i am 7 months pregnant with his baby and they tested me for all that stuff to...i think its just better to be safe then sorry...(and i have never cheated on him)

Listen Aids can be contracted other ways besides sexually. But even still sometimes it's just better to get it to be safe. Stop freaking out she is having a baby with you. My doc office it is mandatory that you have an aids test. Just so they know what they are dealing with.

there is nothing wrong with being careful. i had one when i got pregnant, not cheeting and i trust my husband completly!
