m fed up of my phobia.today i had gone2 pathology lab therei saw a person carrying semen for some test probably . there only it struck my mind that he might infected with AIDS and he left b4 me now chowmy brain works now i feel that since he left b4so he touched the door and after hiim i touched it so the infectionmightb transferred plz suggest

You can't catch AIDS from a door knob. You need to share blood or semen.

If you had a cut on your hand then there would be something worry about.

I'm not an expert, but i don't think you have anything to worry about. I have never heard of aids being spread threw touch. And, i don't think they touched the semen themselves. Usually, it is spread through bodily surfaces, but it has to have an orifice to enter, like during intercourse, or recieving blood from someone infected. If by some small chance aids got on the handle, i don't think your skin would have been able to soak it up or anything. If you are still unsure, get tested and ask your doctor, but i don't think yo have anything to worry about.

You can NOT get aids by touching a doorknob, or any other item, for that matter.

AIDS can only be transferred through bodily fluids (yes, semen is one. As well as blood or vomit.) BUT, even if you TOUCHED his semen with your bare hands (very unlikely, in this situation), you would not get AIDS unless you had an open wound in your hand.

AIDS can be transferred by unprotected sexual contact (semen into your body cavity), or by an infected person's bodily fluid (semen, blood, etc) into an open wound.

You can NOT get AIDS from kissing someone with aids, unless you'd actually drink gallons of their spit (which no one would do anyway), or in the unlikely even that they're bleeding in their mouth (open sores, cuts, etc) AND you'd have a cut in your mouth at the same time.

You can NOT get aids from using the same toilet as a person with aids. You also can't get it from shaking hands/hugging a person with AIDS.

As to your question, don't worry-- you did not get aids from your encounter at the lab. You're much more likely to catch a cold or a flu, though!

HIV and AIDS dies with oxygen.. it only lives in warm moist fluids like blood, semen and vaginal secretions... you dont have anything but you should consider carrying purell with you..lol

Aids can only be spread from direct exchange of body fluid. You would have to have an open wound, scrape, cut or something and his infected body fluid would have to enter that area and you might contract HIV. I doubt that any of this took place. Nothing wrong with being careful though. Parinoid is another thing, I've been there.

Have U seen someone very close to U suffer with Aids / Cancer ?
What makes U worry about these diseases again n again ?

Have ever seen a close person of yours suffer/die with that ?
Are U afraid of losing someone to that monster ?

First of all it is very much normal for U as your conscious/ sub consious mind alerts U frequently to fear about that diseases In fact which is really risk to life.

Why a faithful Lifepartner(spouse) is infected for no mistake at all
Why some find it when they never ever remember some fault

No Doubt U need to be careful where U may come in contact or reuse a infected persons things like

A needle/syringe, a razorblade etc carelessly left by a patient or someone and accidently used by others.
