Does AIDS/HIV die in when in air immediatly?

My girlfriend said she saw somewhite stuff she thought was semen in a bathroom. She accidently touchd it and smelt it. She forgot if she touched her nose/upper lip. Is there a chance for her to get HIV/AIDS?

I thought that:
a) It might not even be semen
b) It might not contain Hiv/Aids
c) I thought Aids/HIV died in air
d) She may have not even gotten it in her body

But she is unsure and can't take a test...

Hiv virus dies when it is dry. Not very likely that she would catch it that way but there is a very small chance.Why can't she take the test????

Does she have a cut or open sore where the semen could get into her body? If not then she's fine.
By the way she can go and get an HIV test and remain anonymous-she doesn't need a parent's signature.
