I take percocet everyday and have a drug test in 5 days?

yeah I know about the druggie comments and all that crap... but right now i realized that its time to change and get together and I just need to know if i stopped today which is wednesday and have a test on monday for a Nurses Aid job....will I past or not? This is the job I've wanted for a year now, i've realized to say screw the partying and all that and get together...and now I finally have the motivation to do that.

So can anyone provide me with info about me passing this test or not...or any links to websites with info?

Well, generally semi synthetic opiates, such as oxycodone, would not show up on a basic drug test, although for a position in healthcare, they probably would be more likely to do a more detailed test.

Now, as long as they don't do a hair test, you should be fine. It will probably stay in your urine for 2 days and your blood for about 12 hours, but closer to 3 months for your hair, though a hair test will only test for drugs youve used more than 2 weeks ago, so depending on how long you were using it, you might still be ok.

One other option, if you wanted to be really cautious, is to all of a sudden get some type of "pain", and go to the ER and try to get a script. Granted, its not something you want to do often, as you'd be labeled as a drug seeker, but, with a prescription, even with a positive test, you would have an excuse.

You may or may not pass as it is hard to tell how much is built up in your system and how fast it will leave. You are great to try to get it together but what happens if you can't kick this habit yourself and you do get hired? Nurses aid work is very serious and drug use is not tolerated. I am glad you want to get into it but be sure you won't test positive before taking that test because if you fail it you could wind up not ever being able to be licensed as a CNA. Good Luck/

It probably will show up on the drug test. So then the question is, do you have a prescription for the Percocet? If you do, don't sweat it ... you have a doctor's prescription giving you permission to have that particular drug in your system for medical reasons. If not, forget it ... you're screwed. pharm drugs usually cycle out of your system in 4-5 days. your best be would be not taking anymore. I cant really say I'd like a nurse working on me while fubared on percs.

dnt laugh at me, but my friend does alot of drugs, like weeding and vidconin is her fav. anytime she has to take a drug test and pass, she takes like four or five antibotics to clear her test, the antiboties help filter your blood. this should really help

It usually takes three or four days to clean out your system. Marijuana takes much longer. This is probably a really good time to consider a program for your addiction.
