no an aids test is simple there is a small swab like thing shaped like a thermometer that you rub on your gums and wait like 15 mins and get the results its totally painless,
a blood test will be your best option at a clinic because you will get many more tests done but its only a blood test, almost all stds are detectable through your blood or visual identification, if you think you may have somthing please get checked out as if your sexually active you can stop a breakout

If they test you for aids all they do is draw blood from your arm which is painless. If you are getting tested for other stds then yes it is painful.

It's a blood test......they take some blood at the bend of your arm and test it. Doesn't hurt any more or any less for females.

Maybe they should devise a test where guy's tallywhakers are removed......then more people might think before they have unprotected sex....

When you get tested for aids they will drawl blood or in some counties they can swab your mouth and you can get tested that way. Call your county health department.

there's 2 ways, blood, and oral swab, both just as effective, for blood test it's just taking a little vial, a little tube. for oral swab, they take a q-tip and swab your inner cheek, completely painless, that format is called the oraquick test.
