Before you get a green card to come to America do you have to be tested for aids?

yes, you have to be tested for AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, TB and hepatitis among the few. i had medical exams done before i was granted an immigrant visa and they did those tests to me. you will not be granted a visa if you fail those health exams.

I believe so. When I came here legally and I applied for the green card, they conduct all kinds of test. Now days, with aids and so many STD I really believe that they do everything and it is the right thing.

First off you don't get a green card to come to America, unless you get it through the green card lottery.

The green card process takes place while you are here, after you have attained all the other relevant visas, therefore you will go for a further medical in this country, blood tests and x-rays being just two, this will take place very early after your entry into the US, so if the medicals show you have this type of virus then I am not sure where you will stand.

If you have falsified medical statements before you came, then you could be easily be deported I'm sure.
