Using prisoners with life long jail sentence for test subjects for disease's? |
for testing for AIDS and other diseases instead of having tax payers pay for them. it would be a good contrubution back to the world dont you think? but only the ones that have proven guilty from D&A snowwhite:dont you think it was crue and mean what some of them killers did? such as the one in vancouver canada that killed 26 women and had them hanging by a chain in his shed? knowing she was going to die? i think its a great idea. i dont see why some states are getting rid of the death penalty. i think one you have been arrested for murder, you should be executed right then and there, hey that would mean less crowding in the jails, and less of our taxpayers money going to those f**kers Agreed!! Great idea. I think they should use them for research. It would make them useful and is not anymore cruel and unusual than locking someone in a cage until they die. Wonderful idea. Saves money and provides scientific data. If they didn't want to be tested.... then I guess they shouldn't commit crimes. they used to do it a long time ago untill it was deemed morally wrong, here's an article about it http://blogs.usatoday.com/oped/2006/08/o... Even though these people are locked up for life, this doesn't necessarily mean they are in fact guilty. Plus this is extremely inhumane, an act by a government such as this, is something that Stalin would have come up with. that violates their constitutional rights. (8th Amendment) the Lawyers would have a field day claiming it is cruel and unusual punishment. it would be a good contribution to the world but there would be alot of lawsuits and those lawsuits make prisoners richer. there are some prisoners that have bank by the time they get out of prison because a guard violated their rights and they sued. Nope, Dirt-bags have rights too. And that is a very hard thing to deal with when you arrest a guy and he is let out on bond no less than 20 minutes from when he tired to kill you. I think if the prisoner was ok with it and signed a conset, go for it! it would never happen. that's cruel and unusual punishment, which is an amendment, no one would go against the amendments. and its just plain wrong, almost bad as the death penalty Hell no! Even prisoners serving life sentences still have rights. That's inhumane. They would at the very least need to have consent from the prisoners, and who would want to be tested upon? Just my two cents. No. The Constitution protects us from cruel and unusual punishment. It would never work.....but then again, we no longer follow the Constitution in this country. hmmmm... Firstly it's not D&A it's DNA. Secondly, no it is not a good idea, despite what you think, these are people, and if I am not mistaken, when the Nazi's did kind of work, we didn't like it. |
