If u had the test? |
if u had d aids and std test after 2 years that u last went with a man do u have to take it again? it came negative 97% of the infected people will show a positve test after just only 3 months. but the cdc reccomends wiating 6 months after possbile exposure to be sure. so, if you're HIV test was 6 months after your risky behavior or possible exposure, and it was neg. you are fine. but if you are currently engaging in syringe drug use, unprotected sex, or homosexual intercourse, you need to be tested every 6 months. visit www.cdc.gov or www.thebody.com. You will get more info there than anywhere else. and the forums and answers are written by healthcare professionals. yes you should get tested every 6 months....sometimes it takes the virus months to show up you are supposed to take it and then retake it 6 months (no less) to 1 year later, with no new partners in between testing. definitely get tested every six months better safe than sorry |
