The Kool-aid test: Your early perceptions of fairness?

When you were a kid and had a friend(s) over and you poured glasses of Koolaid (or whatever), did you:

1.Give the glass with the most to your friend because they were your guest

2. Take the glass with the most because it was your koolaid (right of ownership)

3. Maticulously try to make the levels of koolaid the same

4. pay no attention to the levels at all and hand them out at random

5. independant method

BE HONEST!!!!!!

I wanted to be loved. I tried to make them even, and then gave the one with the most to my friend. I use to get resentments towards them if they didn't do the same thing at their house.

Never drank Kool-aid, but with whatever drink, it was always 4. Too much in a rush to be anal about something as trivial as drinks.

Well I wasn,t maticulously measuring! But We All had some and more when we wanted it. (Thank you Mom for the supply)
And no one I hung out with worried about those few drops more or less...We were just happy together as friends!!..Happy to have Kool-aid to Share..We knew as Kids many around the world didn,t have this simple enjoyment we had.The kids I hung with would have gone Without to Share with others Who Didn,t Have as We Did..

As an adult I've recognized that even though life is not fair I can still do what I can in my little universe to make it as fair as possible.
