Works for me. Africa has been seeing healings of aids all over Africa.

Or we can keep up the scientific research and you guys can pray that they find a cure. I doubt one is just going to pop up out of nowhere just because you pray for it. So to answer the second question, it would never happen if the research was stopped.

The first thing that will happen when you pray is that God will tell you to keep his commandments and that will eliminate aids. That will mean No sex outside of your marriage and no homosexual sex. Doing both of those will eventually eliminate aids..

Why not just keep researching and all soddomize each other while praying not to get it. We can actually set it up in the form of scientific experiment, one group will pray they don't get it and the other gets it, the other doesn't pray at all, and they'll all have anal sex... Or we could not make ridiculous proposals...

Praying for a cure is great.

Specificially, it's great to pray that medical scientists use their God-given intellect and talents in order to find a cure.

Such intellect and talents are blessings from God. Without them, no cure for any disease would be possible.

Of course, no one would go for that. Even if a saint has AIDS he'll still want his medication. No matter how strong someone's faith is, barring a mental illness, it will always be outweighed by the desire to live.

Your question is not valid because the bible teaches that faith without works is dead.

SO, if God gives us science then that would be equal to works in my book and we should have faith that God will work with us for a favorable solution.

Although I believe that miracles are possible and do happen, I believe that the integration of faith and works is viable as well.

we who believe in prayer will be praying that God uses the scientists to find a cure for AIDS. God uses people to do His work. People are created to glorify God and help other people. IF people really prayed who knows what people could accomplish.
