Aids testing in high schools?

Do you think it sends a negative message to give Aids testing in high schools? Thoughts, please.

It would send a negative message if it weren't a real threat to teenagers. The truth is that teenagers ARE having unprotected sex and NEED to be tested for AIDS and other STDs. Obviously if there is AIDS testing going on in a high school, then there must be a real need for it. When teenagers stop being stupid, we'll stop offering them services they shouldn't have to have.

Yes but that's OK. Isn't sending kids the wrong messages what public education is all about?

We teach our kids Spanish and English as only a 2nd language. We got a condom distribution program and we don't allow prayer ever in my locality.

Probably. But they shouldnt be allowed to anyway. ITs not necessary for the school to know if a kid has STDs. Not to mention the ACLU would call it invasion of privacy.

Yes i do, And i think the education and swchool systems are all messed up today, I never heard of such a thing when i was in school, I really dont think that it is right for a school or any school to pry into any people sexual activity, Schools are only used for knowledge not stuff that, There should be no sexual realtions in high school, or drugs in my book, And if some one has aids That their business and there responsiblity not the schools, If i was a principle of a school, Things would be soo different, Who ever had aides or has aides, I would just simply send them home for home schooling, But if the principle doesnt know, that some kids have aides, Well i think its the parents and the kids responsiblity to come forward,
