Is elisa test reliable for aids 97 days after having a doubtful cohabit with one?

Generally, when a person is exposed to HIV, it only takes three months for the test to give you a reliable result. However, it can sometimes take up to six months for the test to work. I would recommend that you have another HIV test in three months. At that point, you should have nothing to worry about if it comes back negative. By the way, this is also the recommendation of the CDC.

the more popular test can give you results in 1 hour. talk to your doctor. you will need a full STD workup as AIDS is probably the least of your concerns.

no there is a period before it will turn positive docs say it window period
if u want 2 get diagnosed theres another test called p24 costlier but ask ur doc

97 days should be enough to give you an actual positive or negative diagnosis. 13 weeks is pretty much the bare minimum. But just to be sure after this test have another test three months later.

Irregardless of which test you take, or the amount of time you wait to test, there are 76 different reasons you could have a false positive or false negative.
