they need to take blood. aids can't be transmitted by saliva, but it can be transmitted by blood. so they need to take blood to test for aids.

whenever i have gotten tested at the lil aids society place here they have always taken the swab and swabbed my cheek. i go about every 6 months becaues that makes me so paranoid!!!! i dont want to get anything so always checking to make sure..... ya never know. so no they dont need to take blood, but sometimes do that as well.
