not at all. For HIV/AIDS they draw blood. It does not hurt and is quit easy. For Other STDs they use a long qtip and swab the inside of ur penis it is a little uncomfortable but all this can be avoided to a degree with the use of rubbers. Later stages of syphilis are tested by blood draw. So opefully this answers ur ? Also if u think u have one get checked it is ur best option.

I'd ask "where in the world you ever got that idea from?", but to keep this brief, no, to test for an STD, including HIV, all that's necessary is to run a test on blood that's usually taken from a vein in your inner elbow area.

its actually like a little brush that opens up inside the penis and then is pulled out scraping the inside walls,to check for std,but i think that it is for a certain std not for std's in general

I am a Phlebotomist and I can assure you that HIV testing is done through serum. It's a blood draw out of your arm.

GC/Chlamydia is done by swabbing the head of the penis, with a very small cotton swab. I guarantee no needle is going to go there.
