Do you think it is wise to insist my husband has an aids test? |
he has admitted to an affair and also told me that he didnt use any protection. he beleives pregancy is not an issue. Absolutely! You have every right, he's the one who made the selfish mistake. At the very least he should do this for you and himself. I would also go to counseling, to find out why he decided to cheat on you and whether or not he plans on doing it again. Poor him..it's the least he can do to show you how much he loves his family. Report It Absolutely Just don't put out until he does. Yes! Why do you feel you deserve to be treated like this from a man that claimed to love you? You are worthy of respect , trust,love!!! If you don't end this marriage soon, you will have to learn the hard way. He will only get worse! Peace! yes and any std test possible of course! Yes, get him to get a work up including testing for other STDs. Just do you know, they don't usually test for herpes unless there are symptoms present (there are blood tests, but unless it's an extensive test, a lot of people who get cold sores will test positive) and there is no way of testing for HPV in men (unless he's got the strain that causes warts, then symptoms will be present). My suggestion? Go a good year using condoms with your husband. I suggest female condoms since they cover a greater area. Even though he has admitted to the affair he is still in denial about the severity of what he did. He should be reassuring you that he would be willing to do anything to put your mind at ease at least about that issue. Do you really know if pregnancy is an issue or did he just tell you that. His credibility is shot dead. HE SHOULD NOT ONLY GET TESTED FOR AIDS, BUT ANY OTHER STD OUT THERE.... It is not only Wise, it is also a MUST! he's lucky he's still with you. F*ck yes! AAAAAAAAAAALL KINDS OF TESTING! (for down there i mean) i would!u never know who has some kind of std!if he has cheated once my dear he will do it again! YOU NEED TO BE TESTED. Go to your gyn and tell him/her that your husband has been unfaithful and that you want every STD test including AIDS testing. |
