Is bloodwork the only way to get an aids test done? no! you can get an hiv test done with a swab that they stick in your mouth. it takes two weeks to come back and should be redone every six months. I'll confirm that last post. It can be detected in saliva, apparently. That doesn't exactly make you feel really confident that it can't ever be spread through "kissing" now, does it? but then, what do we really know about AIDS anyway? Nope. There are OraQuick tests where they swab the inside of your mouth. If you don't mind a little finger prick, some places test with that instead of a whole tube of blood. |
