Do the test, for you and your wife, there is nothing to lose. At least you'd be sure.

HIV can lay dormant in the body for decades, once the symptoms start, it is almost too late, HIV is not only an STD, it is transferrable by blood transfusions administered by careless physicians/nurses.

Only incase you suspect strongly about it.

Otherwise it may affect your relationship badly.

Id do it together, suggest a blood test after the chrissy break as a regular check up and request for a full blood test and make sure you BOTH do it. Otherwise it just looks like your pointing at her.

I don't have a wife. But, sad to say, in today's times, it is wise to be tested before getting intimate with anyone. So, if you trust that your wife hasn't been with anyone else since the onset of the intimate relationship or hasn't done anything else that would expose her, I would think there isn't a lot of need.

the first thing you should ask yourself? why...thats a very big question..break it down into two parts...how long have you been together? and the other is why now if you two how beening in a relationship for some time..people dont forget somethings and never forget others...i think this is one that is the other..alot of people throw things back into ones lap when things dont work out...but if you have been having sex..and aids test wont show but one thing..positive..i dont know what kind of a relationship sexually you have if its open or just dought that one has been fooling around...in any case. you got a problem with something. its eighter you or them...sex is something that is wonderful and exciting..but when asking about a aids test...i think you might just cross a line..i will tell you this..if you or they have it. what are you going to do. the only thing i can think of is you are going to die.its may take a little while...but you are going to die. if you are them or having sex other than with your selves..safe sex..thats the only way to go..but i will tell you this..and this is something you both should talk about...i have a friend thats 23 years old and she is a perfect of a woman...you could never know that she has aids. but ive known that she has had sex with a different man married or single everyday and sometimes two and three men at a time...but she knows she has aids and ive talk to her about it but she wants to give it to anyone and everyone..now we are talking about 1 to over a thousand people women and men...there is nothing anyone can do to stop the way she feels...so do this and good luck...talk it over with each other..you only going to get it once..and there is no cure...good luck
