Should aids test be made compulsory before getting married for both bride and groom?

Personally I feel that testing for STD's should be mandatory for everyone every year. Given the fact that over a million people in the United States have HIV, I think it is a reasonable solution to the epidemic. I also feel that someone tested as HIV positive should be required by law to have a small tattoo put on them marking them as infected. I know many people will disagree with this citing how the Nazis numbered concentration camp victims, but I do not think this is parallel to it at all. An infected person is is a danger to EVERYONE they are sexually active with, and their partners have a right to know. There are about a half a million people walking around right now that are infected and don't even know it. Obviously the measures we have taken so far have not stopped the spread of HIV, so further ones are needed. One of the easiest ways to stop a disease from spreading is to stop its transmission vector.
Consider the massive response that the United States had last year to the West Nile virus. How much effort went into killing off the mosquitoes that were giving it to humans? Now consider how many people died from West Nile compared to AIDS deaths. Why have we not done more to stop AIDS?

No, it would be unwarranted government intrusion into people's personal lives. If something like that is important to somebody, there's nothing stopping them from insisting that their partner get the test done before they wed.
