Isn't it important for couples to get compulsary AIDS test before starting relationship?

Now adays there is so much of aids that it is extremly dangerous for couples to come closer. Not only the other partner will get the disease but also the offspring also may get the virus. I strongly feel the following blood tests have to be conducted before marriage.
1.Aids test
2.Hepatitis B test
3.Blood grouping. To prevent yellow babies
4.Test for tuberculosis

Its extremly recomended for one to get STD test every five years and when changing sexual partners. I think it would be on the safe side you and your partner should be tested and i agree that blood test have to be conducted before marriage.

i think it would be ideal to get tested before starting a relationship. but in reality, most people just get caught up in the moment.

I think that every responsible adult should have those tests. Not only to protect others, but to be responsible for their own health.

It should really be made mandatory. Once they finish school, they must have all those test, and get a medical cert. Which should be renewed every 5 years.

I would tend to agree with you. BUT it's no longer laws in all states for testing to be done BUT I tell couples that I work with it's common sense and shows great respect for each other to test before they become serious about a relationship.

And it is not necessarily so for a mother to pass HIV on to her unborn child.

Yes, they should, all couples should be tested so they don't pass HIV/AIDS on to their offspring.
