Why don't the sell home("do it yourself") aids test kits?

I have been for an aids test at the hospital and and it can be scary. Why dont they sell home test kits in the pharmacies for the people who are afraid of going to the docter?

They do sell them, though the only FDA-approved tests are ones where you give a blood sample and send it to a doctor.
