AIDS Test??? |
Ok I'm 16 turning 17 and my boyfriend is 17, I'm still a virgin and he's not I know he's had slept with 10 girls and 3 of those girls he slept with he didn't wear a condom. Knowing this I asked him to get an AIDS test I also said I would take one with him so he wouldn't feel alone doing this, but I don't want my mom to know I'm going to take one and I don't want to go to my doctor knowing she would tell my mom. Can someone help me out here? This is serious please I don't want rude answers There usually are clinics that do this sort of thing for free so you don't have to go to your family doctor. Check the location with your school councilor or someone you trust. Usually, family planning clinics do those tests as well. Also, call the local public hospital and ask if they perform those tests or if they can give you an adress of a clinic that does. The best thing to do is give blood. Find a place to donate blood..such as a hospital or your local blood drive. they check your blood for HIV and let you know if you have it. Ask your parents to go with you (I think you have to be 18)And let you donate blood. If you have the HIV virus they will let you know. Not only that but you are giving blood to people who need it. That way it doesn't seem like your getting checked just for HIV this is no rude answer but...your 16...wait another 2 years and then get some...why would you sleep with a 17 year old who has had sex with that many people...without protection...what in the h3ll is wrong with you...think about it...maybe you should be doing school work rather than trying to get laid...and the AIDS test...if you actually get aids...some reports have shown to be false...there is a certain amount of time that you have to wait before it takes affect...waiting on a different person would be your best bet right now... What about planned parenthood. You can call just to make sure, but I think its totally confidential and you could do it without parents permission. You are a smart girl, don't stop looking out for yourself. Especially when you are pure and dating someone who isn't. The newer way they test is by swabbing inside the cheek. Ask about that too to see if they have that available, less to worry about with no needles. |
