You can only catch aids through...?

Blood transmission? is this true?

Blood-to-blood contact?

yes you can get it through blood, but not only blood, numerous things by contact can transmit

nope it is in all bodily fluids but blood is the easiest

no, they screan blood after people give blood. u can get aids through sex, sharing needles, blood

Well if your boyfriend didn't pull out and wasn't wearing a condom then you can get it that way too. Just tell him to make a "Romantic Explosion" all over your back next time!

There are two ways throw blood and sex, and yes oral counts!

Bodily fluids. Semen, blood, vaginal secretions, saliva, mother's milk... what you "catch" is the HIV virus which can cause AIDS and related immuno-suppressive conditions; these in turn can make you vulnerable to many other illnesses. So this is very serious, and you should learn about and practice safe sex if you are not celibate; and if your friends or family have HIV, study up on ordinary precautions; any HIV clinic or program should have wonderful free educational materials... as will many websites like the one below

Any exchange of bodily fluids except not from kissing.

blood, semen, vaginal secretions, breast milk, and anything that allows for direct contact into the bloodstream (like open cuts and sores that come in contact with the bodily fluids mentioned above)

Whoever is saying saliva is WRONG.

No, not at all.

The HIV virus is transmittable through blood, seminal discharge (including precum), vaginal discharge, breast milk and saliva.

The easiest way to contract it is blood to blood contact because our blood contains the highest viral load (the amount of the virus contained in the fluid). The next highest is semen, then vaginal discharge, then breast milk (most likely to an infant from an infected mother), then saliva. It is EXTREMELY unlikely that HIV will be transmitted to you through saliva, but it IS possible.

If your bloodstream is exposed to any of those fluids from an infected person, it is possible that you could be infected.

You can catch AIDS through any exhange of bodily fluids, which includes blood, semen/pre-c*m, vaginal fluids, breast milk, and saliva (very, very rare).

Use condoms, dental dams/Saran wrap, latex gloves, and lubrication whenever you have sex to avoid this exchange of bodily fluids, use clean needles if and whenever you get pricked with one for whatever reason, and basically, take care with what you put in your body.

HIV/AIDS can be transmitted through blood, pre-seminal fluids, semen, vaginal fluid, and breast milk.

Any activities in which you are directly exposed to these infectious fluids put you at risk for contracting the virus.

Please note: Whomever keeps telling you that HIV/AIDS is contractible through saliva transfer is incorrect. Saliva is NOT an infectious bodily fluid.

No...
Infection with HIV occurs by the transfer of blood, semen, vaginal fluid, pre-ejaculate, or breast milk. Within these bodily fluids, HIV is present as both free virus particles and virus within infected immune cells. The three major routes of transmission are unprotected sexual intercourse, contaminated needles, and transmission from an infected mother to her baby at birth, or through breast milk.

Not true, almost all bodily fluids can carry the aids virus. It is a blood borne disease, meaning that it lives in the blood, but it can be spread through semen, serum or any manner of other vectors. even tears.

no, I suggest that you go back and do MORE research because you a sadly ignorant in this day and time.

All bodie fluids but blood is the easiest. Aids is known as a sexualy transmited diesease, becuase you can also catch it from seman, vaginal fluids, and blood from "those places".

Blood, sexual fluids, and breast milk. Breast milk isn't as commonly known though.

yeah thats one way

Nope, you can catch it from body fluids. Not so much oral body fluids, but ejaculate has it for example. You can also catch it from sex with someone who has it, through vaginal or anal sex.

But urine is sterile, so you shouldn't catch it from urine.
