Can people get AIDS through insect bites? |
since some insects suck human blood for food like mosquito, if they suck blood from a person that has AIDS and then switch to a healthy person, it's still fluid transmission right? No. No you can't, I learned you couldn't in Health class. hiv is a virus and needs the body to grow, if it was a bacteria everyone in the world would have it, no, the insect is not able to carry the disease, its impossible. they only carry insect-prone infections like the nile virus. No. It is transmitted by bodily fluids (i.e. semen, blood, vaginal fluid), sharing needles, and breast milk. Yes, that's why 75% of the world's population has AIDS. |
