Treatments for a runny nose, sore throat, and coughing.?

I feel terrible. I have all these things. It started on thurs. with the sore throat ande then it got worst from there. I'm looking stuff I can buy at Wallgreens or Rite Aid.HELP!!!!

Yes, it's a cold, and you'll just have to let it run its course.

A few things that will help:
1. Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water. A diet consisting of soup, fruit, and other high-water foods would be the best.
2. Take vitamin C supplements. Orange juice also helps.
3. Take zinc tablets. These are available at any chemists. Okay, they don't taste like chocolate truffles, but at least they're taste sweet.
4. Take ginger tea. Boil some ginger shreds in water and add a spot of honey. It'll provide temporary relief to your throat.
5. Stay well rested.

you have a common cold! steam in karvol, take lemsips and ibebrufin (neurfen of similar!) and if u dont get better go 2 ur doctor

Most people with runny nose, sore throat and coughing have a viral infection. Antibiotics are not helpful. For runny nose, try sudafed (pseudoephedrine). For coughing, try dextromethorphan (robitussin). For sore throat, try tylenol or motrin. All over the counter.

If you don't feel better in 1-2 weeks, or if you have high fevers, and thick, greenish-yellow sputum, see your doctor.

Drink lots of OJ and some Theraflu that usually helps me.

Take one glass of water mix it with1tsp pepper, 1tsp turmeric, 1tsp garlic, 1tsp small onion, 1tsp ginger and 1tsp of sugar. Boil it until it becomes 1/2 glass, drink it while it is warm. More remedies available at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html
