PIMPLE (acne) CURE - please help?

I'm 19+. A guy.
I have pimples all over my face.(for 2.5+ yrs now) more than i can count. it's really bad. some are very big ones. but i have very small spot lke acne all over my face.
I visited a doctor about 5 times. first he gave me topical treatment. then benzoyl peroxide. (increased upto 10%)
antibiotic capsules. retins.
but nothing worked. i stopped using all those stuff coz it dries out my skin. I use acne aid soap twice or thrice everyday. i dont eat chocolate too much. (little ,once a month)
I don't have dandruff. Nothing seems to work for me.
Please help me. what should i do.

There are no cures for acne but there are preventions. You don't have to worry about eating chocolate because scientists have done many studies and food does not contribute to acne, it's just a myth. But drinking plenty of water does help though. I use Proactiv, (the benzoyl peroxide in their products are only 2.5%) and I find it really helps, maybe you can try it out, hopefully it'll work for you =)

Sounds like you're overstimulating your skin. Don't do so much to it. Ask your doc for a non-benzoyl peroxide topical agent.

Tanning will help clear up the skin. Take Vitamin E and I've heard ProActive works wonders.

id say go for laser treatment , who cares how much it costs.
or take accutane. be sure to ask your docter about it.

try rubbing toothepaste on it and let it on overnight....it might make a mess on your pillow but it will work...or you could try isopropyl alchohol.

Retin A is really drying. Try taking Zinc, twice a day with food. Use a good soap like Neutrogena or Aveno for oily skin. I keep it in a small pump soap bottle in the shower. The zinc will help heal the pimples from the inside out. And the big one I use, Neosporin or an antibiotic ointment. I use this on the big painful ones. Put a little on the blemish before bed. When you get up you will see a BIG difference.
Ive heard Proactiv is very good but have never tried it.

well i use nutrimetics on my face, have been for about three to four years. I use like five different things every morning and night, also fairly cheap.
First i wash my face in the shower with a Cleanser and Pore Refining Exfloiator (scrub)
Wipe my face with Purifying Tonging Lotion
Rub in Spot Correction Creme in my red spots
and finally (and very very importantly) use balancing Moisturising Gel
oh and i do a face mask once a week...
lol sounds gay? don't forget i am a girl but this is about what you need to use so you don't dry out your skin.
Menthol is what my brother always used to use for his pimples (on his face and back) but it does really dry out your skin. My friend has bad pimples on her face and she uses some pills that has helped but as girls we can also use a lot of makeup while guys really can't.There a lot of guys who use creme and things for there face.
Pimples don't stop when you hit 18 and over (mainly because your hormones are still changing).
Don't be afraid to buy stuff from woolies or nutrimetics because as a girl i would rather a guy do that and don't care then a guy with pimples all over their face. (Although i don't care if they do) hope this has helped because it is long enough. sorry bout that lol
