Did you know....? Another fine example from Cuba of how to help the developing world?

The Bolivian who shot Che Guevara, Mario Teran, in the village of La Higuera on CIA orders later developed cataracts. Teran had his eyesight restored by Cuban doctors working in Bolivia as part of Operation Miracle which is dedicated to offering FREE eye treatment to poor people across Latin America. Ironically, the hospital of Nuestro Senor de Malta, in which Che's body was displayed, is now staffed by 25 Cuban medics one of whom, Ledicel Gamez, said "Che lives on in our fight for Latin American unity".
Okay, further to my earlier question, is this not an example of how aid in the developing world SHOULD be carried out? Is it not an example of magnaminity as well on the part of the Cuban doctors? If only this were in Africa. Perhaps the ex-colonist countries could send "free" medical care units across Africa (this is not to demean the noble work done by the Oxfam and the Red Cross already), but I would like to see governments acting- I won't hold my breath.

You bragging about Cuba helping but I disagree They only looking for a place to live and the Africans can't see the difference for being helped or helping Cuba to get rid of over population.
Yes aid shout be carried out for this purpose only to help people not to help yourself

Long term which country did Che influence that was not sunk into a prolonged civil war and has still not recovered fully. While his intentions may have been good they were misguided and idealistic. Like it or not we are all capitalists by nature.

Blimey if you wiped your backside with angelina and braddy boy they would be cleaner than when they started, maybe they should do every body a favour and flush each other down to the cess pit they call home.
