Do you think child killers should be protected?

we all know the story of little maddie and pray that shes found safe if the most horrible thing happened would the man be treated like ian huntley who is protected by the law given a cushey cell ,given aid and help when he tried suicide and special treatment for killing holly and jessica protection by the law?

No they should not ...they lost all their humane rights the moment they commited these acts against innocent children ..........

Anyone who kills or hurts a child (or any form of human life or animals) should be stabbed or be hanged by the nuts and if its a woman she should be hanged by her nipples! No mercy for killers!

My personally view on this is that they should all recieve the death sentence, unfortunately it doesnt happen.
These people are sick, they have terrible mental health issues, they should be locked up in a secure mental health unit for life and never let out. Even if they recover from this so called mental illness they should still stay locked up and never allowed back into society again.
I too hope they find that little girl.
My question is that no one seems to have raised is why did the parents leave that little girl alone even if they were only a few yards away, would you leave your young child sleeping and go across the road to your friends house? i doubt it.

No I don't think they should be protected, they should be put through the same things as the child has and then terminated. They are not worthy of breathing the same air as us..............

I think if a person can hurt someone or something that is less defenseless than they are. They should be given the max sentence to 30 yrs in prison, when they are proved guilty. If they killed them they should get the death sentence.

In answer to your question:No, child killers should not be protected, especially from other prisoners.Though, I do feel sorry for innocent relatives of the killer's and victims families.

I think in a way child killers should not be protected. Because they are not the victims they are the murderers. Who would ever want to hurt a child. But if they mean protected like keep them away from children and hung on a rope then I guess so. But I think anyone who tries to kill children should and should get the death penalty for sho!

No, they shouldn't. It might make them think twice if they knew they had to face the wrath of other prisoners who, traditionally, are known to loathe child abusers. At the moment it seems that there is nothing about prison that might help to make them change their ways.

I also think that unless something is done soon to make the punishment fit the crime, some members of the public may take matters into their own hands.

they should not be protected whatsoever,for people like that i believe corporal punishment should be bought back,it sickens me how they get a life of luxury in prison and the families have nothing but the awful memories of what happened to their child.

I think all sexual predators/child killers should be subjected to very slow death out in some jungle with starving wild animals or something where they can't escape. No food, no shelter, no nothing. I believe these deviant people have too much "rights" and I don't understand it because I've seen other (non-violent to society) criminals who are put in prison longer than these sick bastards that have been proven that they are incurable. I also believe that the laws are not tougher on these particular criminals because there's profit involved in putting fear into parents and children by increasing security, etc.

If there is 100% certainty i.e DNA or forensic evidence which proves that the person committed such a horrific crime then they should suffer the death penalty. Our children are not protected by the law against these predators so why should they be protected once they are found guilty.
