What kind of illness "treatment" is this? |
Injections or IV's are inserted on TOP of both your hands and therefore you have to wear a big band-aid on top of each of your hand? What disease or ailment treatment match this???? Injections aren't given in hand veins unless they are IV injections and there's no other venous access. IV lines can be started in hand veins but this isn't a disease or ailment. It's called IV therapy and is given for any number of reasons. The specific kind of IV therapy depends on the fluid or fluids that were hung (which would help explain what the illness was). It is standard treatment for just about every illness that requires the doctors to have easy access into the patient's blood stream. |
