Will pharmacutical companies try and block this breakthrough treatment for Aids ? |
If proven to be a treatment. They will almost absolutely. The FDA doesn't want to approve any cures or treatments because of the loss of billions of dollars in Cancer and AIDS research. They're looking for the silver bullet and ignoring all other possible cures. Research actually costs money. If research makes money why would research organizations need charity? The FDA would be rather foolish to block a drug that would cure AIDS. Such a cure would make huge profit for pharm companies. The reason the FDA does not approve is it is a "snake oil" claim Report It If it was a real cure pharmaceutical companies would advertise it all over the media and charge rediculus prices for it knowing that people would spend it anyways as AIDS is becoming an epidemic across the globe. Report It Scientists tried asking Jamalah for permission to test the concoction in laboratory to peer review it as a HIV cure. All drugs have to be peer reviewed and lab tested to pass the FDA. But Jamahlah refused to let the FDA test it. Report It If he was confident that it would work he would allow the FDA to test it's effectiveness and Jamallah would be moving out of his hut into a Johannesburg mansion. Report It However he refused to let the FDA test his claims and the only reason someone would refuse a potenual billion doller cure to be tested for marked is if he knew himself that it is a fraud and is afraid of being exposed! Report It There is absolutly no logical motive that the FDA or pharmaceutical companies would block the holy grail of medicen and miss out on a huge profitable gain such as a cure for AIDS. Come on use your common sense! Report It just because symptoms disapear does not make a cure. you can bet your life on it if we had a cure it would be all over the news. Report It Likely they'll be in a rush to create a generic. I think once it is proven true(if) then no, they won't be able to. They are greedy yes, but most of the people in Africa receiving medicine are getting it for free so they won't lose any money there. As for here in the States, if you can keep someone alive long enough, they will eventually get sick and need some other meds. I think it all would even out. If it's properly tested and proven, then no. Absolutely, and watch how expensive it'll be...insanity I say!! |
