Would you appreciate Ekta Kapoor for the hospital scene in 鈥淜ahani鈥?鈥?on 10th June?

Would you appreciate Ekta Kapoor for showing the real character of big hospitals in the 10th June episode of 鈥淜ahani Ghar Ghar Kii鈥濃€?

She showed how the multimillionaire Om Agarwal was insulted, pushed, thrashed, and abused by the surgeon, staff and the security personnel of a 鈥榖ig鈥?hospital for a meagre sum of Rs 75,000/-鈥?in spite of having paid well in advance the charges for surgery鈥?

This is not simply a fiction鈥?this indeed, happens 24 x 7 only in India鈥?

In general... the advanced technology, knowledge and infrastructure are accessible to limited number of patients who can spend enormous money in big private hospitals...
If we don鈥檛 have money鈥?then we either sell-out our property and get treated鈥?or just wait for breathing our last 鈥?br>
These hospitals are like five star hotels鈥?less hospitality and humanitarian values. They display sign-boards saying something like the following:
鈥淭his Hospital Provides Free Treatment to Poor / Needy Patients鈥濃€?br> However I don鈥檛 think that they might be doing so鈥?br>
If you go for angiography they will take all the charges in advance and on receiving the computer-generated receipt鈥?they will start the angiography鈥?by inserting a catheter for this purpose鈥?during angiography鈥?the person accompanying the patient would not be shown the views on the monitor live鈥?for convincing him as to which artery has what percentage of blockage鈥?

Instead, the surgeon will come out of the operation theatre (OT) 鈥?leaving behind the catheter right inside the body of the patient鈥?and explain the blockage with the help of a ball-pen on a printed sketch of the arteries on a paper鈥?the surgeon will ask at this moment to take immediate decision whether he should go-ahead with angioplasty鈥?or remove the catheter from the body of the patient鈥?

The accompanying assistants, naturally, agree for angioplasty鈥?and then they are asked to pay the charges鈥?and show the computer-generated receipt鈥?as the surgeon will not go ahead with angioplasty without seeing such receipt鈥?the catheter is kept inserts inside the body of the patient until the payment is done on the cash counter and the assistant brings the receipt to the surgeon鈥?

Price for angioplasty in private hospitals in Delhi is Rs 2,50,000/- whereas you will get the same treatment in Nagpur for Rs 1,50,000/- or less... Even in Delhi the charges might be less in Govt aided hospitals like AIIMS and likes...

It is needed that a standard fee should be fixed for various treatments / surgeries鈥?in all hospitals鈥?whether they are private or government aided鈥?lest their licence should be cancelled鈥?

Private hospitals owned by corporate houses should be asked not to run their units as commercial shops鈥?merely for earning fortunes鈥?they should be reminded the 鈥榦ath鈥?the doctors use to take at the time of their convocation鈥?/div>

I completely agree with you ! Unfortunately attention is paid on weather the research is made or not but there is no attention paid on weather whole human kind can have advantage of that research ! I think there should be an aid for the the one who can not afford such expensive medical treatments ! I would really like people to pay attention on such topics !!
and as far as "kahani .." is concerned ekta kapoor & her daily serials are banned in my house by my father !! but i do agree with the matter in your question !!! Thanks for supporting my question too !!!

Actually I do not appreciate even a single serial of ekta kapoor. she doesn't show reality and wedding scenes she creates oh my god!
