Wart removal burns, help!?

I had warts on my stomach I know... odd but I went to the doc and he confirmed it, so I bought some freezer treatment stuff from dominicks. I applied it to the few warts for about 40 seconds.. ouch! however feet warts need 40 seconds, warts elsewhere like hands only need 10-20. Now I have these cold burns which hurt and I don't want scars. Do I need to worry about these bruises or are they freezer burns? If so, what cna be done to aid the recovery? Thanks

You will be fine. I had them all over my hands. The only scars I had were on my wrist from when I went to the dermatologist and had them burned out.

Your skin will peel around the wart. That is normal.

I suggest, if you are having a hard time getting them to come off, getting a nail file and filing them down before you put the remover on.

Warts are a virus and once you have it, they may go away but the virus will always be in you, so they can come back whenever they want. They are also cause by dirty skin, so keep clean (this is why they often occur on hands).

Also, another trick is to put duct tape on them overnight, rip the duct tape off in the morning, it will rip a layer off and the acid in the tape will eat through the roots.
You can try the half a potatoe and burying under a full moon. I don't believe in old wives tales but I tried it.

I also used a pair of nail clippers to cut out parts of the wart. It hurts like hell, but it helps.

Sometimes, even not messing with them is a good idea.

Worst comes to worst, go to the dermatologist. They will either freeze them (first option) or they will burn them out, which does leave scarring. With their freezing, it is a heavy duty freezing, and they burn for like a day or two, but generally fall right off. After a wart falls off, make sure you put a good amount of neosporin on it, but only after the entire thing has come off.

I had lots of them for a long time so I learned a lot of tricks.

Do an internet search on "warts tagamet". You'll be amazed.

It turns out that Tagamet, an over the counter stomach medicine, is one of the best cures for warts. It's been studied and tested and tested. Unfortunately, Tagamet is a generic and there is no profit to be had in getting through the FDA hurdles to get it relabeled for warts.

There are few side effects, it's just a pill and painless.
