And, do I need a hearing aid?? Because I don't think I'm receiving God's messages.... I don't know, maybe something is wrong with my ears... I should talk to my doctor about this...

god operates on a ham radio frequency...this is a common problem most people make when praying and then waiting for his response.

while he is, obviously capable of receiving the gazillions of prayers and messages and "please, oh please let the Saints/Nuggets/Knicks/Cowboys make the Play-Offs" groveling requests, he realized that we humans are miserably equipped to telepathically receive his answer.

this has led to countless unfortunate situations where so-called "messengers of god" got it oh-so-horribly wrong.

i can't tell you how many of these messengers of god have strapped on bombs or blown up abortion clinics or tried to convert others by standing on boxes and holding up signs that say "THE END IS NEAR"

when god answered their prayers and said "You are an idiot and i should smite you, but i'm on medication for that now" they heard "woof woof woof woof" and just figured that meant "ok"

as for how best to receive his holy word...buy a ham radio and wait for the true voice to come through. but a word to the wise...if you tune in and hear the guy who lives in topeka and keeps barking from midnight to 3 am - that is not god. that guy is just stoned.

I have very real conversations with God. I ask specific questions & then randomly open the scriptures & read the first verse my eyes fall upon. It is down right scary how dead on the verse is time after time in regards to the question that I asked. Report Abuse

You should look into thought forms. Your thoughts can actually be visiblly seen by people. God doesn't have to hear them. He can see them. Your thoughts actually take on a life force of their own & go out to do your nefarious (or benevolent) bidding:) You can't hide them from anyone much less God. Report Abuse

He's not giving you the silent treatent lol but i know how you feel, you just need to listen you're ears are blocked basically not physically but spiritually. Crazy I know, this next part will sound evben more crazy but ask God to unblock you're ears and take time to actually wait for him to speak . When he does unblock them you'll be very suprised how often he'll talk to you, he may even be talking to you right now.

When God speaks, some hear his voice...others hear thunder....

Or, some listen to thunder, but God speaks in a quiet, gentle voice...

It keeps things lively from His perspective. One time, a finger came and pointed to a wall...this was before flat screen TV was available...
it wrote....Mene, Mene, Tekel...and so forth...

Interpreted, it meant " you have been weighed in the balances...and came up short..." You were found "wanting"...I would say, in answer to your question, just be happy you are who you are...

ah... lol i have the same problem! you might not believe me but just because you don't hear God doesn't mean he doesn't exist! i used to think that God would speak really loud and clear all the time I've come to realise that he/she's much more mysterious than that... look and listen for God in nature, music, people and "coincidences". You will find him if you search with all your heart. All the best :)

Have you been trying to get an answer from God for quite a while now?Ya know, more than likely, He already HAS and IS answering you! God doesn't always talk to you through a audible voice, but He can also talk to us through... ANYTHING, really! An expirence, a feeling, something a total stranger says or does, or even something a friend says! Although, most of the time, we, as humans, just don't listen. So God needs to get our attention SOMEHOW, so He allows bigger things to happen in order to catch our ear! God isn't just some off-in-the-distant THING that we complain to or ask for things, He's God, and all he wants from you is to WANT to love him and so things for him. Pretty much like an earthly relationship, between a man and a woman who TRUELY love eachother, only MUCH much much deeper than we can ever imagine!
It all sounds a little (or a lot!) like a load of crap at first, but at least think about it. At the very least! Also, try to understand than the way the world see and tells you that Christians are, probably isn't even what a REAL Christian is! A REAL "Christian" is a literal Christ-Follower, or someone who lives his life, the best he can, like Jesus. There's no room for punk "love" in REAL Christianity, only the deepest most sincere. Real love is better that fake love anyway, right? haha ;D god bless you, man! (No, that's not requires to say if you're a Christian! And yes, even a Christian can say "crap!" hahaha!)
