To anyone who has seen "I am Legend" can you tell me what Roger Ebert is smoking?

I don't read his movie reviews often, but I did come across this one after watching "I am Legend."

This is the main part I'm wondering about. I believe all of these questions were explained very clearly in the movie:

"In "I Am Legend," the situation raises questions of logic. If Neville firmly believes he is the last healthy man alive, who is the vaccine for? Only himself, I guess. And how, I always wonder, do human beings in all their infinite shapes and sizes mutate into identical pale zombies with infinite speed and strength?"

Does he frequently make mistakes like this in his reviews?

I realize that these things are explained in the movie. I'm just wondering how Roger Ebert is able to get away with such inaccuracies and how often it happens.

Apparently the kids that tried to answer the question were smoking the very same substance that Ebert was. Wow, that is all I can say. WOW WOW WOW. Are these people literate? I cannot believe that they are, and if they are they should be doomed to a life of vampire-zombiedom while they get their asses kicked by Will Smith and his dog. Let's talk about Ebert though. The answer to your question is Crack Rocks. Ebert smokes Crack Rocks because if he doesn't, he has no excuse to live. What is more upsetting: That Ebert, a supposed film critic made a review without seeing the movie or the trailer? or that he gets paid to do this? Clearly he could not write that review if he saw even the trailer which explicitly indicates that he is immune to the virus. And NO RETARDS, it is not a vaccine, a vaccine is given to prevent an illness and is made from the disease itself. Clearly Will, a.k.a. THE MAN, Smith, was making the CURE with his own blood. DUMBASSES!!!!!!! GODDDAMNNNN. My last suggestion for all of you is to apply for a job as a film critic because apparently it is dumbasses like you that get Ebert's job. Way to go. I HATE YOU!!!!!
Finally on a more serious note, he does make mistakes all the time that imply that he hasn't seen whichever movie he reviewed. Oh and yes Inconvenient Truth and United 93 were on his top 10 movies of the past 40 years... Come to think of it i think most of the 10 movies were made in the past 5 years. Crack Rocks ruin memory.

I respect the man who asked the question about Ebert, but for the rest of you on this page; I hate you and you are retarded. Kids don't smoke Crack Rocks.

The vaccine is for the zombies to transform them back to normal human beings hence the drug trails he performs on them .

Dogs don't live forever, but neither do we.... everything ends... no one in our culture openly accepts the fact we ARE going to it seems....

Infinite speed / strength = Basic survival instincts just like the fight of flight reaction within a human... if you see something that scares you or something you want with all of your "heart" you will endlessly strive towards that goal without thought of physical pain or agony ..

as for the lack of the oxygenated RED pigmentation they need blood (the human meal they're after)... hence their "infinite speed / strength" ...

Movie is meant for Entertainment, not to be over analyzed with Logic, Reasoning or Common sense. Its up to the script writers and Directors to make the General Public love it thus, profits follow. If you are looking for a Locigal Explanation watch the Discovery Channel or TLC.

The reason the infected had unlimited speed and strength is in the virus they contracted. The direct results in being infected means an increased metabolism (hence the increase in the breathing patterns (hyperventilating)) and adrenal glands being opened all the time. That is why the alpha male and others were so strong. Although one thing that couldn't be explained is why the alpha male didn't crack his skull when he crushed his head several times against that inch thick bullet proof glass? Great movie. As for Ebert, who cares what he thinks he is just one critic........this movie has a deeper meaning than most people can grasp. It is one that needs to be viewed several times to fully understand it and obviously Ebert is simple minded....only sees the movie from a close minded perspective. This, biologically speaking, could really happen. Not the super infected part but the wiping out of the human race part.
