Vacination, what are we doing to our kids?

I watched this video, linked above, and was appauled, my parents have never been for vacination but I never saw so many stories in one place.
This is doctors and people saying how bad it is.
There is a wealth of information on the web about how bad these are for your health.

I have never had vaccines and I am very healthy, never had a terrible disease and I have NEVER been diagnosed with ADD, or any of those of behaivioral disorders.

I have seen so many people, children, DIE because of the vaccines, or get sick because of them, and so few saved because of them.

We don't vaccinate our son. I have done a lot of research and feel very comfortable with our decision. He is a very healthy 4 year old that attends public school with NO problems.

I think everyone should vaccinate their kids, they will have way more issues if you don't. Don't vaccinating kids is just plain stupid to me.

omigosh....see without vaccinations we would be a world of disease...doesnt anyone understand that!!??? that is why we have them. look at all the other places that dont have them. they die constantly. it isnt worth seeing your child going through these illnesses. i saw a child with whooping cough, it was the most horrible, saddest thing i have ever seen. the child couldnt even stop coughing to breath. the doctor was holding him upside down and whacking him on the back. he was like 10 months old. it is extremely dangerous for your children not to be immunized!!!! but hey...if you want your children to be at risk of serious disease then atleast my kids are covered!!! i am sorry but wanting to risk your children like that makes me sick!!!

You need to realize the reason that scientists scrambled, yes SCRAMBLED to make vaccinations. Its because before these things children were dieing by the thousands. I agree that some research needs to be done to make sure that they aren't causing undue problems but there are so many other environmental and natural factors its really hard to say for certain that vaccinations cause, say, autism. There have been studies saying that TV causes autism too. So what do you do? My daughter had her first vaccinations at 2 months, I'd rather she had them and remained healthy than didn't have them and got sick and died. Especially with her in a daycare.

There are risks with vaccinations, but the benefits far outweigh the risks...This has nothing to do with the vaccination itself but the child involved. People can have deadly reactions to almost anything. aspirin,bee stings,even food items..does that mean that we should take aspirin or these food items off the shelf's?

If you look back polio has been almost extinct since vaccinations along with measles and mumps..

what would happen if the entire world decided to not get vaccinations, you would see these things coming right back, along with others.

No need for me to look at the links. :) I'm glad that my children are vaccinated. There are so many links out there that are FOR vaccines as well, and I am relieved to know that I'm doing the right thing.

the shots save more lives than they take. please get your kids vaccinated they are safe.

By vaccinating our kids, we are protecting them. Don't believe everything you read, see or hear. Without vaccinations, we would still be fighting things like Anthrax, Polio, Small Pocks, and many other deadly diseases. Talk to someone who was alive for the Polio epidemic of the early part of this century. VAccinations are often necessary for our children to build up immunity to diseases. For example, why would you not vaccinate your child for whooping cough (pertussis) - have you ever seen or heard an infant with whooping cough - it kills them in a lot of cases and it's horrible to hear your baby gasping for the breath that they so desprately need. Why would you take the chance? Vaccinations save lives - be thankful that we have the technology that we do to prevent these fatal illnesses.

Sometimes this can occur because people don't have the funds necessary to get the vaccinations. Also vaccinations are no small fee. Look at this...

That's a lot of money and that's just the flu vaccinations. $13,000 average cost for the vaccination? $40,000 for those in intensive care?

$15,000 to $20,000 for AIDS medications...there isn't even a vaccination to take that can cure this either.

With the prices so high can anybody even afford the vaccinations? That might be a huge factor as to why people don't give vaccinations to their children.

Firstly, there is no commercially available vaccine for HIV, only experimental drugs in the early stages of development. Secondly, the connection between autism and vaccination has been totally unproven, and there have been literally hundreds of studies - it is an anecdotal coincidence that children begin to outwardly display signs of autism around the same age they are vaccinated.
Vaccines save millions of lives every year. Even if there are some, rare, side effects of vaccination they are NOTHING compared to the ravages of whooping cough, influenza, polio, small pox, etc.
People like you who foolishly refuse to vaccinate your children are putting the rest of the population at risk of preventable disease and pandemics, based on unscientific fears.
Please just do some reading about the polio epidemics of the 1950's to see what life would be like without vaccines.

Please, get your facts straight. You're either hysterical or trolling. EVERYTHING in life has risks, including vaccinations. What should we do, stay in our homes and lock the doors? Don't cross the street?
