To combat AIDS, why scientist focus more on vaccine, other solutions are possible? I think it is because to cure AIDS you have to completely rewrite DNA of an infected person. This is very difficult to do. So the medical community is taking the "Ounce of Prevention" approach. Maybe if it can be figured out how to stop it from the start, everyone can be inoculated, and the virus will become extinct. there's no interest in curing AIDS, only securing funding for university research. because prevention is better than cure... |
