Is it possible to cure a virus?

Like AIDS, Herpes, the common cold? None of them have cures, is it because they are viruses?

vaccines are always in tests
medicines are taking strides
all you got to do is
simple,wait for solution

Some viruses such as the common cold, the flu and HIV mutate; that is why they are so hard to cure. Others such as herpes and some strains of HPV attach themselves to your DNA.

At this point in time, there are no CURES for viruses, most of them have to run their full course. There are vaccines which can prevent you from ever contracting viruses and there are medications which can help your body fight viruses and help you to heal more quickly or just slow the viral destruction of your cells. For example: you can get a vaccine against Chicken Pox and Measles, but Herpes and HIV and Shingles are all treated with Valtrex or Zovirax medications which speed the healing process like in Herpes or Shingles or slow the destruction down, like in the case of HIV.

First we need to understand Viruses and how they work. The common cold is usually cured once you are over it. The reason being the White Blood Cells have analyzed the Virus and developed an immunity to the SPECIFIC Virus, understand? The problem is there many cold viruses and to be immune to them we must first get them. Other viruses like Aides etc. use this same mutation effect to change from what our White Blood Cells have learned of their genetic makeup. Cancer can actually mask itself so the White Blood Cells are deceived into believing there is nothing wrong. This a very brief explain. It is more complicated than this, but, I believe if the White Blood Cells can learn how to approach these type Viruses we would have a cure. Just the Medical World may not fully know how to go about this. I know one we use is a Vaccine. We actually introduce the Virus into the Body to develop immunity. BUT, from what we know it not the best approach, but, does help with less mutating and masking viruses.

Curing a virus depends on the type of virus.

AIDS & Herpes have no cure and they do not go away as Common Cold Virus does.

AIDS Virus could be terminal, where as Herpes Virus while is not terminal, it has no cure. However Common Cold virus as period of living life and it will be eliminated.

So all depends on the type of the virus.
