Where did HIV/AIDS originate from?

first of all I know a lot of you are close minded, and this doesn't appeal to you

I am from the generation X, so it appeals to me

Boyd Graves has spent nine years tracking down documents that he thinks links the US Government to the development of AIDS. A key finding is the discovery of a 1971 flow chart that documents a $550 million program responsible for the disease, he claims.
Once developed he says that the government created 60,000 liters of a biological agent in 1978 that would be subsequently be known as aids. Graves alleges that the pentagon then spread the virus in Africa and USA.
At the time of this article, US Rep James Traficant D-17th, was assisting Graves with the inquiry. Today, James Traficant remains behind bars. Coincidence? You decide.

HIV has existed in primate communities for a long
time. Traficant is a crook who is legitimately in jail.

As for man getting it. I prefer the old stand by that

I believe it started in the laboratory and they gave it to certain races and thought that it would not cross over into other races and didn't know that what affects one population and/or group of people there are chances that it will affect all of us if only minutely and what happen was the experiment go out of control and they can't stop it, reverse it or bring back all of those wonderful, brilliant, loved people who lost their lives.

So what you stated above is something that I had believed long before knowing the facts. It started in the lab and it got out of control.

Some scientists believe it was transferred to people from monkeys, as monkeys can get a very similar disease, SIV or SImian Immunodeficiency Virus.. Some theorize that the crossover occured when monkey kidneys were used in Africa in the production of the Polio vaccine. Apparently the time scale does work out, although it really is just one theory of how the disease mutated and passed from monkeys to people.

I think most sane people will agree, however, that an accidental occurance is much more likely to explain the origin of AIDS than that it was an attempt at racially motivated population control. Let's face it, there are a lot of other, less complicated/dangerous ways to do that than to engineer a new disease and let it run amok.

I can tell you where the virus got 'started' and how it got into the human population. The virus (HIV) is in monkeys in Africa. Many people eat monkeys, including 'raw brains' ... which 'introduced' the virus to humans. People go to Africa and think that they can have 'sex' with Africans and 'no one will know' that what they did 'happened' ... and so the disease came to the U.S. and other countries. Because of it's 'weird beginning' it wasn't considered a 'pandemic' for several years, and thus it 'spread' fairly quickly.
No 'government program' can be the CAUSE of any disease, unless it is a 'disease' that is 'built' in a lab. HIV/AIDS came from monkeys in Africa. THAT is a 'well known fact' among those of us who have 'known' how bad AIDS was from the very beginning. No, the U.S. government did not 'create AIDS' ... nor did it 'help' spread it through the population. What is 'criminal' is that when it was first spreading it seemed to be a disease that was 'limited' to homosexuals, so no agency felt it was 'important enough' to do research on to 'fight it' or (someday, I pray) 'end it.' NOW it is a disease that ANYONE can get ... even from a 'needle stick' if the needle is not 'sterile' ... or from blood when trying to save the life of an injured person. AIDS effects ALL OF US ... and THAT IS THE FAULT OF THE GOVERNMENT, BY INACTION.

The government of course, and the medication they prescribe for it, is what causes all the symptoms, not the disease itself. I am not closed minded at all. Nice to know there is another out there who looks beyond the corporate media!
