If there was FRESH blood, semen, vaginal fluids or breastmilk on a pay phone, and you wiped that payphone over an open wound on your body, it is possible that you could catch the virus.

If, however, you used the phone like an ordinary person, and the caller before you had used the phone like an ordinary person, you wouldn't catch anything from that phone.

Likewise for toilets, taxis, bar stools, counter tops, door knobs, etc. etc. If you find something with FRESH blood, semen, vaginal fluids or breastmilk on it, don't wipe it on an open wound.

I wouldn't say it's impossible, but very very VERY unlikely. Diseases like HIV have to go through blood or reproductive fluids, so in order to get it from a toilet seat, you'd have to have an open, bleeding wound on your buttcheek to pick up anything.
