Can dogs catch a virus or cold from a human? |
Is there any health condition that a human gets that are contagious to dogs? Common cold, flu, stomach virus, aids? I am not asking for any particular reason. A few us were just sitting around talking and someone coughed and then the dog coughed. So we just got to wondering if any of the above are contagious from human to dog. Thanks!! a cold? no, but there is a list of things that we can be infected with from our pets, and even our pets can get from us (think ringworm). No. And your pets can't catch conditions you may have. Not dogs... but I read in a book that Rabbits can catch a cold from humans. No.We have different immunologic systems. I think so i have a cat and when we are sick too! Some virus can transfer from a human being to a dog, some don't. |
