Why do people spread lies that AIDS is not a STD or can't be spread by 4th base?

One guy said a woman would need 1000 encounters with an infected male and a man 10000 encounters with an infected female. I think the truth is there is a 90% chance she will be infected the first encounter and 25% chance for a male mating an infected female.

And I heard condoms do not really stop AIDS, the virus is smaller than the microscopic holes/pores in the latex. In fact to use the analogy, it is as easy for AIDS to go thru the condom holes as it is for a mouse to go thru an open door.

Please spread the truth and stop those lies!

truth fully abstinence is the best way to protect yourself but if you do a condom will protect you as long as it isn't lamb skin or any non-latex material. bisexual men was the first noted cases of the HIV virus with then developes as aids. for your information aids is not a std. it is a infection of the bloodstream and mucosa. the only way to contract this disease is through bodily fluids during sex without a condom or if you both have a sore down there and secretions meet. you can only get if through a kiss if you both have an open sore in the mouth . with kissing it takes about a gallon of spit to contract it. if a person infected starts to bleed the virus cant live without a host so if it don't get into the blood stream in about 1 minute of exposure your fine because oxygen kills it. if you want to learn more about aids or HIV let me know i took a enrichment course on aids.

Prof Sam, pk_dag (aka Paul King), and some other users came here from the MSN Dissident Action group awhile ago to try and "educate" people that HIV does not exist, deny any solid link between HIV and AIDS, don't get tested, condoms are dangerous, etc. They spam the boards with the same information over and over again, posting the same false things whenever they see a question that even passively mentions HIV or condoms.

It angers my greatly that they spread this disinformation to the young people who come here for help, rather than taking this issue up with their peers in the scientific community.

You may also have noticed that they have banded together, and are giving people who put real information thumbs downs, giving each other thumbs up, and voting for each other. This way, they get to claim they are in the majority here.

Until Y!A takes action against them, the most we can do is band together ourselves, vote for each other, and report them when they post dangerous false information and advice.

in fact the 1/1000 per chance values you decry are in fact in the medical literature.

For instance, you see this when they try and do estimates to determine if heterosexual intercourse is or can be responsible for 'HIV' rates in places like India.

For instance, in the 2006 paper published in the International Journal of STD's and AIDS, "How much does heterosexual commercial sex contribute to India's HIV epidemic?", the authors write, 'FSWs [Female Commercial Sex Workers] and clients account for 2-15% of HIV-infected adults, far less than model-based estimates of 44-68%.'

In their methodology description, they write, 'the rate of HIV transmission from FSWs to clients is 0.0011-0.002 per unprotected contact'

You may want to ask yourself if 'HIV' is transmitted via penile-vaginal intercourse, why is Japan almost completely unaffected by 'HIV'/AIDS? in 2006 Japan reported all of 917 'HIV' cases. For a country of 128 million it's remarkably indifferent to all those heterosexuals having babies. Yet in Africa 'HIV' is said to infect from 5 to over 30% of entire countries' populations. Isn't there just a slight disconnect here for a 'virus that doesn't descriminate'?

While rates of real STD's are unfortunately high, and condom use is relatively low, 'HIV' infection in this 'high risk' group is either unbelievable low or simply non-existent in more developed parts of the world [Japan=2,3,4; Czech Republic=5, 6; Australia=7; Malaysia=8; China=9, 10; Greece=11]

Yet somehow African's are yet again completely out of control sexually. Suddenly 'HIV' rates are at 30 or 46% in these sex workers. [12, 13] Do we truly have such racist attitudes about Africans that we think they are hundreds of times more sexualy active than so many other parts of the world? Luckily we know this is not the case and their sexual behavior is not so different than ours. [14]

Perhaps something else is causing these tests to be so reactive in places like Africa that don't have to do with sex. After all, they're just antibody tests.
