AIDS symptoms?

does anyone know the early symptoms of the aids virus? Why does it sometimes take as long as 8 yrs to show up?

The earliest symptoms of having AIDS is to have HIV. HIV occurs through sexual transmission or by sharing needles. Some of the earliest symptoms (if any at all) are when a person is fist infected. Symptoms include slight nueropathy, a high fever, swollen lymph glands (which are found in your neck and arm pit), night sweats, and a mon-like illness, where you feel very sick. After that, numerous opportunistic infection take over. But, HIV is called a lentivirus, which means it may take a while to take over your body's immune system. it is not that HIV doesn't show up, but rather that HIV will not show symptoms. It will always be in your blood. Opportunistic infections include, Epstein Barr, cytomegalovirus, TB-like illness, thrush in the mouth, severe diarrhea, wasting away, and nausea. As time goes on, the body succumbs more to these oppotunistic infections. And the tell-tail signs of the on-slaught of AIDS (aside from habing a T helper cell count below 200/mg of blood) is kaposi sarcoma and Pnuemocystis Carinii.

well it's not aids right offf......................first it's hiv then it turns into aids to very different things *well not too different but yeah you might see sores or night sweats or some **** like that...................i'm telling you from research...i don't have the ****...so

Night sweats, thrush, frequent infections by little known or unseasonable viruses/bacteria, diarrhea, nausea, weight loss. You can get a home HIV test at any drug store for about $50. The Virus may take only 6 months to show up in th eblood stream, but full-blown AIDs may take longer dependeing on your health, the care you receive and at what stage you find out.
